Praise
Good morning to you! I pray all is well today with you.
Do you ever wake up and get moving around and then pray very quickly for God to help you today? I mean I spend time with the Lord every day. I am not talking about then. I mean a little bit later I feel anxious and like I am really going to need an extra portion of God's help. That is how I feel today. I slept great until 1:30 AM then woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, so laid there awhile and decided to read for a bit and then I finally went back to sleep and was really sleeping hard when my husband left for work and woke me up to say goodbye. (I want him to do that.) Then I jumped up knowing I had to go somewhere today. I don't like having to go anywhere when it is raining also. I would just as soon stay home.
But that is okay. I will go and have a good time and trust God to take care of me and the people that I am with. Because God is so good and perfect and faithful, I can trust Him. And so can you!
Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Psalm 62:8
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and
my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:2
This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
Titus 3:8
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all
his ways are just. A faithful God who
does no wrong, upright and just is he.
Deuteronomy 32:4
So, let us trust in our God today. He will carry us through the miry pit. He will bring us through whatever we are going through and somewhere along the way, we will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And as we go through stuff, let us praise God all the way. And as I have mentioned before, that is a hard thing to do. But that is a decision we make. We do it because we love God not because everything is peachy-keen.
Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise,
in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
Psalm 48:1 NIV
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised
in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
Psalm 48:1 KJV
I wanted to share both versions of this verse with you and not just because it is so true. Scripture needs to be repeated. We need to put in in our heart as I have talked about before.
God is just and faithful and worthy of praise and so much more. So, give Him a chance and put your faith in Him. He loves you and will bring you through all you are going through. Remember it is the enemy who brings all this stuff to us. And it is God who helps us through with His love and blessings and peace and so much more.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers,
against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and
against
the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 6:12
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist
the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
they stumble and perish before you.
For you have upheld my right and my cause,
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
Psalm 9:2-4

Deut. 32:3
Out of our mouths God perfects praise or ordains strength that He might
still the enemy or avenger in the battle before us. When we praise, the
battle becomes the Lord’s. Then it’s easy to win the battle because we
give God the open door to come and still the enemy with the open door
of our mouths.
Praise the Lord! Have a blessed and awesome day!
