Life and Peace

Good morning on this new and glorious day!

And my God will meet all your
needs according to the riches of
his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

God met my needs with something other than money which He certainly can and will do. I went to Sunday School yesterday and heard in my class about Job being tempted by the devil and then trusting God and several other things that were in the blog early yesterday. I was truly blessed with confirmation on what I was talking about in the blog.

To the left of this blog you will find yesterday's and all the days previous in the archives. I sure hope and pray that you are being helped by this blog. Because I am. If you are new to reading this, go back to the very first one and you will see why I started it to begin with. And remember to forward this blog or maybe my email I sent to you, to others. God can use it to bless them also.

Back to what I was talking about, God is awesome and the evil one wants to steal our joy, even our life.  Joy is not dependent on our circumstances. Our circumstances may not be so good, but we can have joy in our hearts and lives because Jesus lives there. Now happiness can be a circumstantial thing. We can be unhappy because of stuff that is going on but like joy it is a choice. We have to choose to put a smile on our face no matter what we are going through. That is very hard sometimes. But in order to be a witness for Jesus that is what we need to do. We need to show people how God can be with us and help us and give us peace, if we let Him. It can be very hard to show God's peace also when stuff is going on. So the devil wants to steal our joy, our life, our happiness, our smiles, our witness, and our peace. Are we going to let him do that?

I don't want to give the devil credit for anything that he is doing. We only want to give credit and praise to God for what He is doing in our lives. He is our joy, our life and so on.

"For the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Nehemiah 8:10c

"For the mind set on the flesh
is death, but the mind set on
the Spirit is life and peace."
Romans 8:6

Give your life totally and completely to Christ today. He loves you and wants to give you abundant life. And when you give your life to Him, He will give you everything you need and then some. But we have to let Him give them to us and then accept them. We can ask Jesus into our hearts and then choose to be negative and not let the things He wants to give us come into us. Let Him have you and let Him do His will in your life. You will never be sorry you did.

"Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!"
                                                                2 Thessalonians 3:16

Have a blessed day!

Les
