Peace

Good morning on this blessed day!
May Jesus fill you with His perfect peace!

We went to our first Christmas Party of this year last night. Had a great time! We were blessed to see friends that I don't get to see very often. We played bingo for lots of prizes. That was fun also. They let it get to the point where there were so many people getting bingos you couldn't get close to the table with the prizes. Ah, what fun!

There is another Christmas party tonight but we are not going to this one. It just didn't work out. You know God has a great plan for our lives and we may be looking to do things that we want to do but He has other ideas.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

So, God knows what we are to do even when we don't know a thing. He will let us know if and when we spend time in prayer about it. It doesn't matter if it is a life decision or a very small, minute decision. Although, He may not let us know right away. We may have to wait. He will give us great peace about something that we are to do or not to do. If we have much turmoil or confusion about something after we have prayed about it, then we are most likely not to do it.

For God is not the author of confusion, but
of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33

Let us spend time in prayer for any decision we are to make whether it is about what to wear or eat, or what to do for the rest of our lives. God knows best and we need to seek His face.

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well."
Matthew 6:33

"But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find
him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul."
Deuteronomy 4:29

God is so good all the time that He wants to help us with anything and all things. He will lead us the right way. He will never lead us down the wrong path.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.
2 Corinthians 2:14

Let Him lead you. Let Him guide you. Let Him live in you. He loves you beyond measure. Turn your eyes upon Jesus!
