FOLLOW HIM

Hello and good morning!

I pray all is well with you. We are going fishing today. I am so excited. The only thing that doesn't thrill me so much is that it is supposed to be frosty in the morning and I didn't bring a heavy coat. Regardless of hot flashes I still get cold. My poor husband. I am cold and then I am hot. And vice versa and then vice versa again. But when I am cold, I am really cold. 

Maybe we can wait a little later to go. But I really want to catch fish. Good eating fish! There is catfish, and white bass and crappie and trout. And I love them all. Maybe we can catch our dinner. But then again whenever I go fishing with my Dad we don't catch anything. I am looking for God's blessings today.

Then again we can be fishers of men. You know we can tell people about Jesus and bring them unto Him. Actually, all we can do is go and tell. It is God's job to reel them in and bring them unto Him.

Then He (Jesus) said to them, “Follow Me, 
and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:19

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am 
the light of the world. He who follows Me shall 
not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 8:12

For God so loved the world that He gave His 
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in 
Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

All you have to do is believe and follow. I know that seems very simple and it may not be to some. But it really is. But it is true. And the truth will set you free.

"Then you will know the truth, 
and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:32  

So, believe and follow. It is as simple as that. Don't make it hard. Read His Word and be set free.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
