MOMENTS

Good morning to you on this awesome day!

Hope you had a great night. I sure did. Got to have dinner with my beautiful daughter and my handsome nephew at the beach. What a blessing! I couldn't have asked for anything more in this God moment.

My Savior is alive. I just wanted to tell you that and that He loves you.
I fell in love with a wonderful singer named Michael O'Brien this weekend. He is a guy who used to be lead singer with Newsong. He is the sweetest guy. I didn't get to actually meet him but I feel like I did. I love his singing style, actually he can sing in any style and he is a kick. He also sang a bunch of what he calls silly songs. He and his band are just wonderful. 

I have just had the best time at an Extraordinary Women of Faith Conference in Pensacola, FL. It was absolutely awesome. And I love it here. It is so, so pretty. The sand is like very fine sugar. And last night it was really hopping here in this area of the country. I guess the last of the spring breakers. And it was prom night at the high school. So, a lot of the kids were dressed up and ate at the same restaurant we did. They all looked like they were 12 years old. Does that mean I am getting old?

I didn't mention that the drive down here on Friday morning was kind of awful. I hate driving in the rain and it rained for about 7 of the 8 hours I was on the road. And I don't mean just a light rain. At times it rained buckets. It was stressful and tiring but it was worth every minute of it. When I got here I actually said I wouldn't care if it never rained another drop the rest of my life, but I guess that is not really true. I do love the rain but mostly when I can stay home and curl up with a book.

But you know that God is good and He gives us His grace, mercy and love that know no bounds. And if you don't know that Jesus loves you, I am telling you now. He loves you! He loves you! He loves you! And God tells us through Rod Stewart "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" It is not a Christian song but God tells us that He loves us in all kinds of ways.

Karen Kingsbury talked about how God used that song many times in her life in the "God moments."

Have you had a God moment lately? If you haven't, or haven't noticed those moments, take the time to notice when they happen, and they do happen. Because God loves you very much and wants you to find those moments in your life.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
