DIVINE PROTECTION

 
Good morning on this blessed Sabbath Day!

I pray that you had a wonderful night. I sure did! I was so tired after not sleeping very well on Friday night. My problem is that there is so much to do in preparing to leave town. Fortunately, my husband will be home so there are things that I don't have to do before I leave. That always helps. 
 
I am so excited to see my dad and step-mom. It will take me 10 hours to get there. Please pray for safe travel for me and great weather. It doesn't bother me to drive so far alone. God is good all the time and His divine protection is over me.

My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    my shield and the horn of my salvation.
He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior—
    from violent people you save me. 
 “I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
    and have been saved from my enemies.
2 Samuel 22:3-4 

How awesome is that!

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty
 hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper
 time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, 
because He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; 
let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; 
let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.  
Psalm 5:11

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: 
the righteous runs into it, and is safe. 
Proverbs 18:10

God loves us so much and will never leave us or forsake us. So, He is with us always. How comforting is that!

So, trust the Lord knowing that you abide in the shelter of the Most High God.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
