OUR GOD REIGNS

 
Good morning to you this fine Thursday!
May God bless you and keep you and give you peace. From Numbers 6:24-26.

It did rain a lot yesterday, really a lot. We did go to the Janet Huckaby Arkansas Nature Center and then to a chinese buffet for lunch. The nature center overlooks a lake. It was really nice and the chinese food was really great. It didn't really rain until late in the afternoon. 

But rain it did and thunder and lightning! The rain was coming down every which way. The wind was blowing so hard the rain was going sideways and it was so dark and scary, kind of. And that reminds me of the reign of God! He is not dark and scary but He is in great and awesome control.

The Lord reigns;
Let the earth rejoice;
Let the multitude of isles be glad!
Psalm 97:1 

Light is sown for the righteous,
And gladness for the upright in heart. 
 Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous,
And give thanks at the remembrance 
of His holy name.
Psalm 97:11-12

Our God reigns! God rules over all He has created. He is in control. He reigns! That is such an awesome thought. In all reality we don't have to be in charge of anything because He is in control. And if we don't have control issues that is not a problem. If we have control issues, that just might be a problem. 

All we have to do is love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves. Then we spend all the time possible with God in worship and prayer (remember to pray without ceasing). We serve Him and live for Him, honoring and glorifying Him all the way. We do all our part and God will do the rest. He will take care of everything else because He loves us and cares about our every need, want and desire, according to His will. 

So, let's do our part and let God do His. He knows what He is doing and He has the plan for our lives.
Because Our God Reigns!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
