BLESSED BY GOD



Good morning to you this blessed day!

How are you this fine day? I pray that you are blessed like I am. We had our taxes done yesterday afternoon. Ugh! We always owe money. It doesn't mean we are rich, it just means that we are self employed so we don't have taxes taken out of our paycheck. Ugh again! 

I thought I was fixing burritos when we got home but lo and behold we went out to eat. That is the first time in quite awhile. We did go to breakfast on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago. Blessings never cease!

We often go to God with our requests, but have you considered going to God to thank Him for your blessings? A journal of blessings is a great way to accentuate the blessings that you see in your life. Sure it is easy to ask for blessings, but it is just as easy to be thankful for blessings. Try it, get a journal or a notebook and start recording one blessing a day. Each new day brings a new blessing — no repeats allowed.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, 
in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, 
in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For 
when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:10

He shall receive blessing from the 
Lord, And righteousness from the 
God of his salvation.
Psalm 24:5

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the 
test he will receive the crown of life,  
which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12

 …”Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” When 
he saw them he said to them, ”Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they

So, if you have been blessed in any way, thank God. If you don't feel you have been blessed, think again. I am sure you have been because God is good and is with you always. And that is a blessing!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
