TIME WITH GOD

Good morning to you!

I pray you had a great night. All is well here. Last night I was trying to do several things on the computer. I was getting INTERNAL SERVER ERRORS and the such and I couldn't do what I needed to do. Grrrrrrr!

That kind of stuff just drives me crazy. So I went to bed. My husband was sound asleep on the couch. I tried to get him to go to bed and he said that he couldn't. He works so hard and his job is so physical. I am so proud of him and I can't imagine how he does it. I know God helps him do it. He always says that he does it all for me. That if I wasn't here married to him then he wouldn't work so hard. Well, I know him and he always works hard. He wears me out when I think about it. And before work he always spends time with God. God has blessed me greatly with him.

My husband woke me up this morning to say good bye when leaving for work. I want him to wake me up and I want to say good bye to him every day. He usually leaves about 6:30 AM. Sometimes I go back to sleep but most of the time I don't. Well, he said good bye to me and left and I got up. While I was making the bed I looked at the clock, it was only 5:30 AM. I had no idea he was leaving that early and I certainly didn't really want to get up that early. But that is okay. I kept making the bed and went to do the normal daily things I do in the morning. Ugh! The earlier you get up the more time you have to get things done during the day.

Also, the more time I have to spend with Jesus before I have to go somewhere or what ever I have to do. Spending time with my Jesus! I have to do that in the morning. There is nothing wrong with doing it at another time, but for me it starts out my day just right. If I don't do it first thing in the morning, my day just doesn't go right. I feel lost. So, for me the AM is the right time. Even when I worked I didn't need to get up at 5:00 AM but I did just so I would have the best time with the Lord. I set the alarm and for 12 years that is when I got up for work. It worked for me.

That special time of scripture reading and memorizing, praising God, prayer and maybe a little singing unto the Lord. Some days I write in a journal. I have years worth of journals in which I write to God.

But seek first the kingdom of God and
His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and
when you have shut your door, pray to your Father
who is in the secret place; and your Father who
sees in secret will reward you openly.
Matthew 6:6

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your
requests be made known to God; and the peace
of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

So, do these things and see what happens. God is good all the time!

Have a wonderful day!
