CHANGE MY HEART


Good morning to you this fine day!
I am on the road this morning on my way to Arkansas to visit with my Dad and Step-mom. I am so excited. Please pray for my safety as I travel and for great weather. I will also get to visit with my step-sister and husband so I am so thrilled about that also. 

It is so wonderful to have had such a beautiful weekend. God has blessed us tremendously with the warm air and sunshine. I know it is going to get really warm soon enough and then we will be complaining that it is too hot. It is either too hot or too cold. There doesn't seem to be enough time of the in between which is the spring and the fall. They seem to go so fast. So, let us try to be content.
I am not saying this because I am in need, 
for I have learned to be content whatever the 
circumstances. I know what it is to be in need,
 and I know what it is to have plenty. I have 
learned the secret of being content in any and 
every situation, whether well fed or hungry, 
whether living in plenty or in want.
Philippians 4:1-12 
 
I really need God's help to be content. I don't want to complain about being hot (hotflashes) or being cold (the opposite of hotflashes) but I do, at least to my husband anyway. I don't want to complain about anything else either. I am never as good as I want to be. But only God can change us and make us a better person.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Psalm 51:10-12

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
