MY LORD
Good morning to you!
May God bless you and keep you and fill you with His grace and peace! He can and will do it you know. My husband hurt his back yesterday. I haven't seen him in such pain in a long time. I am constantly asking him what can I do for him. I feel so bad. I know what it is like not to be able to move very well. There are certain things that you need to do that you can't. It is not only frustrating but impossible to do them without lots of pain.
But you know what? There is hope in Jesus Christ. We have prayed. We prayed for him at church last night and we have full confidence that Jesus Christ will heal him quickly. God has already given us answers to prayers for several things concerning this. God is so good! We will just wait patiently for the rest of his healing. Well, sort of. Patience is not one of our virtues. But this is how we learn to be more patient when in the middle of a storm, so to speak.
Even if we aren't real patient we can trust God to put His healing hand on us. He is the Great Physician, you know! You may wonder why He doesn't heal all of us every time. Well, first of all He loves us so much and He doesn't make bad things happen. He is a good and awesome God of love. He allows things to happen in this world. He gives us free choice. And Adam and Eve made a bad choice which affects us all. And we make bad choices all the time. Therefore, we must pay the price for the decisions we make whether good or bad. In the fallen world we live in, stuff happens. The evil one also wants to take our life away and our family away. Don't let the thief steal from you and win the battle. Fight for what God has given you. Anyway, God uses the bad things that happen for His glory.
The thief does not come except to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come
that they may have life, and that
they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
And my God shall supply all your need
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
And we know that all things work together for
good to those who love God, to those who
are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil
work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.
To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
2 Timothy 4:18
So, the enemy wants to destroy our life and make us miserable. But Jesus wants to give us abundant life. Who are you going to follow and depend on? Well, Jesus is the only one I am going to follow and worship. He is my Lord and Savior and my King of Kings and my Healer and Protector in Whom I put my trust.
Choose to have a happy day!
