LIVE FOR JESUS

 
Good morning on this beautiful Saturday!

I am so excited for today. It is supposed to be beautiful and 72*. Maybe it will thaw us out and fill us with warmth and sunshine. I am over the cold weather. It seems as though it has been here forever. I know it hasn't really been forever but it sure seems like it.

But I will tell you this: God's love is forever. Eternity is forever. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you know who Jesus is? He is the Son of the living God. He is our Lord, our Savior, our King of kings and Lord of lords, wonderful Counselor, Prince of peace, Almighty God. The Bible, God's Word, inspired by God, tells us all these awesome things. And I believe it word for word. I believe it as the literal Word of God. 

I want to live my life for Jesus. I want my life to lift up Jesus and to honor and glorify Him. It doesn't mean that I am perfect by any means because I definitely am not. Not even close. But I love my Lord and do the best I can even to do that. I am to:
 
So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”
Luke 10:27

So, even in loving God I do the best I know how. I know it is not really good enough. After all I am only human, but I try and when I fail, I repent and ask God to forgive me. And do you know what? He does forgive me. And when you ask, He will forgive you also. Sometimes we think we are not perfect but don't sin. Well, we all do sin. God's Word says we do.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
 
If God tells us to do something and we don't, we sin. When God tells us not to do something and we do, we sin. He tells us these things in His Word, and He speaks to our spirit, and He might speak to us through someone else. But He does tell us how to live and we should pray "Thy will be done." His will is perfect. You can't hide anything from God. He knows best.

So, love God first, love your neighbor, and do the best you can to live for Him. He loves you unconditionally.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
