TODAY

Good morning on this great but stormy day!

I got up very early today. Ugh! But I will survive I suppose. At least it was supposed to be stormy. Maybe it hasn't started yet. With God's help it will be an awesome day because this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Oh Lord God Almighty, please be with those in the Boston area who are hurting because of the blasts. Be with those in Texas who are hurting. Touch their lives Oh God and heal their hearts. Help the authorities, Lord, to find who has done these horrific things and deal with them accordingly. And may you be glorified in some way, Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Terrible things are happening these days all over the place. And the Bible shows that it probably won't get better. Oh, Jesus come back! Come take us home with You to the mansion in heaven that You have prepared for us.
I am ready and I pray that you are also. And if you aren't ready to meet your maker, I suggest that you get ready. 

For he says,
“In the time of my favor I heard you,
    and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2

Ask Jesus into your heart. Believe and accept. Confess your sin and tell someone what you have done. It is not too late. We don't know the hour and the day that we will breathe our last breath. And we don't know the hour and the day that Jesus will return and rapture or take us up to heaven with him. So be ready.

Jesus loves you so much. He will never leave you. And He wants you to live with Him in heaven for eternity. Ponder that!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
