GOD'S LOVE



Good morning!

Hope you had a great day yesterday. It was a gorgeous day. I wish I had had time to work outside. Maybe I can today. I have flowers to plant, as well as to add more seeds and seedlings to my garden. I love flowers. It is amazing the beauty to behold in flowers. I also love to take pictures of flowers and plants, well, most anything. I actually don't take as many pictures as I used to. I need to get back in the habit.

 God has a picture of us and we have a picture of Him. I hope and pray that your picture of God is one of beauty and majesty and love and a hope and a future. He is with us always and He cares for us. He is kind, loving and gentle, the nicest person in the universe. And much more. Please don't think of God as an ogre or a mean father. Because He is NOT! He is not distant or angry or mean. There are times when we do wrong that He does have to discipline us but we know that as a parent we are supposed to show our love that way. God is love!

 The bible says that God is love. Pure love. And He wants to lavish His love on you. He is not looking for more servants to add to His Kingdom but more children to fill His house. He wants to be in relationship with you, not because you deserve it but just because He made you, and is "head over heels" in love with you.

 Wow! How can we not live in and with that kind of love. And then we can show Him and His people that kind of love.
He who does not love does not 
know God, for God is love. 
1 John 4:8

 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what 
does the Lord require of you but to do justly, To love 
mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; 
and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
1 John 4:7 

So, live in God's love. Show it to everyone especially God and live like a child of the most high King.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
