GOD'S CARE

 
Good morning!

2 more inches of rain yesterday! Oh me oh my! We are going to float away. But I praise God we don't have water in our basement and all our trees haven't fallen down. Those things happen around here. The worst part is that we have rain predicted everyday through July 17. We have already had it everyday for weeks. I thought God promised us with the rainbow to Noah that He wouldn't flood us. The roads were flooded everywhere yesterday. 

Oh, well. Enough of that. Regardless of the rain and flooding and trees falling, God promised that He would be with us always and take care of us.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be 
content with such things as you have. For He Himself 
has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5
 
 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be 
afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who 
goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
 
 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, 
and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33
 
Matthew 6:25-34 talks about the things we need and how God will take care of us if we seek Him and His righteousness. In order for Him to do His part, we have to do our part. This relationship with God is not one sided. It takes us doing what He wants us to do, obedience, and then He promises to do His part. But He will be with us and never leave us, and He will supply all our needs, and He will take care of us.

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do 
good to all people,especially to those who 
belong to the family of believers."
Galatians 6:10
 
God takes care of us and sometimes He uses people. So, as we take care of others, others will take care of us. God loves us and His eye is on the sparrow (us). If God takes care of the insignificant sparrow, how much more will God take care of us. 

"It was this extra sparrow of which Jesus said, "and not one of them is forgotten before God." His care for His creation is so great that even this extra sparrow is noted and observed by God! The point our Lord was making is this: if God is concerned about the tiny sparrow and notes its fate, how much greater must His concern be for man, who is immeasurably greater in value than the sparrow!"

 So, let's do good to all people, love them and take care of them, because God loves us and will never leave us and will always care for us.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
