GOD'S WAY

Good morning on this fine day!

I am so excited. It didn't even rain yesterday. The sun was so bright and the sky was blue. It was such a nice change. Do you know that it has rained 12 inches here? I heard that on the radio yesterday. And the forecast is rain every day for 10 more days. No wonder we are floating away.

Do you ever feel as though God is floating away from you? Do you feel as though your prayers are hitting the ceiling? Well, God isn't floating away. And your prayers aren't hitting the ceiling. They are going directly to the heart of God. He loves us and He hears our prayers and He answers our prayers. And as I said yesterday, He will never leave us or forsake us.

He may not answer our prayers right away. Remember His timing is perfect. It will not be in our time. We have to be patient and wait on God. And the answer could be yes, no, or maybe, or not now. Sometimes when He says no about something we ask for, we think that He is not answering. Well, He is answering but it is just not our way. If He says no, then it is not in His will. But He knows what is best for us. And always He has something better in store for us. His way is always better.

And He does want us to do things His way, that is what following Jesus is all about.

“Wash yourselves,
make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your
doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.
“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
 If you are willing and obedient,
     You shall eat the good of the land;
But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
Isaiah 1:16-20

Oh, Lord, help us to please You in all we do, and to be Your disciples. And if we don't know how to do that, help us Lord, for nothing is impossible with You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Have a fabulous day!
