HE CREATED


Good morning on this great Friday!

We had an awesome day yesterday in the good old state of Kentucky. It started out grim, misty, and foggy and it turned into a gorgeous day. It got up to about 81* with a nice breeze. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. 

I praise His holy name. We have come to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY. If you have never heard of this museum, it is awesome. Everyone who believes in Jesus needs to come here. It was built in 2004 or so and through the years has slowly added new things. We went to the museum then before it was even finished being built and we loved it then. We were invited to an open house for charter members which we are. But never were able to come back. We finally did.

All their programs, movies, and lectures are about the Bible view of everything. At the end of workshops they end with prayer. A lot of the workers are actually volunteers. Obviously, it all starts with the Biblical creation and all the exhibits start there. It is really a must see.

I believe that God created the earth and everything in it in 6 days and then He rested. If the Bible says it I believe it, literally. I know a lot of people don't believe a lot of things God's Word says. Well, if you don't believe all of it, you don't believe any of it. It is all or none. And in all reality, living for and believing in Jesus is all or none. You either do or you don't. And if you don't believe all the way, then you don't. There are no gray areas with God.

In the beginning God created the 
heavens and the earth.
 Genesis 1:1 

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens 
and the earth by your great power and outstretched
 arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
Jeremiah 32:17

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who 
created all these? He who brings out the starry host 
one by one and calls forth each of them by name. 
Because of his great power and mighty 
strength, not one of them is missing.
Isaiah 40:26

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a 
shield to those who take refuge in him.
Proverbs 30:5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word 
was with God, and the Word was God. He was 
with God in the beginning. Through him all 
things were made; without him nothing

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not 
live on bread alone, but on every word that 
comes from the mouth of God.’”
Matthew 4:4

 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful 
for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training 
in righteousness, so that the servant of God may 
be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16 

I know that this is a lot of scripture but it is God's Word and His Word is perfect and as the last verse said "God-breathed". Don't ever discount what His Word says. His Word is our guidebook for life, our manual, so to speak.

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
