HIS ARMS

Good morning!

How are you this fine Thursday? I pray that you had a great night. I sure did. I have never been a deep sleeper. But the last 6 months or so I have really been sleeping so much better. I don't know if it is the supplements I am taking or the lavender lotion or what but it is working. I was always a light sleeper and woke up so much. If I drank anything with caffeine at any time I would be awake a lot of the night or wake up many times and not sleep real sound when I did sleep. But now, praise the Lord, I am sleeping soundly. I am so thankful.

Sleep is so important for a healthy lifestyle. It really makes you feel better during the day. But you don't realize that until you start sleeping good and then, wow, it really makes a difference.

In the Bible, it talks a lot about sleep as sleeping with someone. Well, I am talking about getting rest when you go to sleep.

I lie down and sleep; I wake again,
because the Lord sustains me.
Psalm 3:5

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you
alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8

In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food
to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.
Psalm 127:2

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when
you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Proverbs 3:24

There are many more scriptures on sleep but I chose these because they show God's love for us and how He cares for us. He cares how we live for Him and how we sleep for the rest to refresh our bodies. God is amazing!

So, the Lord sustains us, He makes us dwell in safety, He grants sleep to those He loves, and when we lie down, we will not be afraid and our sleep will be sweet. Oh, how He loves us. He even cares about our sleep.

As you sleep tonight, revel in the comfort of God's loving arms, knowing that He loves us and cares for us at all times of the day and night.

Have a fantastic day! I will!
