OUR GOD




Good morning on the awesome Sunday!

I pray you had a blessed Saturday. Ours was restful and busy at the same time. I just seem to have so much to do all the time and never enough time to do it all. This is mostly house stuff. Things I need to do around the house that I never seem to catch up on.  Of course, I am pretty scattered also. I am also still working on mission trip stuff for this year and then some for next year's trip.

I have written before about being so busy and how satan uses that to keep us from focusing on Jesus. But I try to keep my focus on Him. The Lord is my Rock and my Redeemer and much, much more.

I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
 therefore I will wait for him.”
Lamentations 3:24

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes 
my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.  
Habbakuk 3:19

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
Psalm 23:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation— 
whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold 
of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my strength and my shield; 
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart 
leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:7

Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
Psalm 54:4

The Lord is my refuge, my fortress, my helper, my defense, and my God. And yours also.

He loves you and cares for you. Give your life to Him. He wants to lead you beside still waters.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
