Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord 
Jesus Christ, who has  blessed us in the heavenly 
realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Are you blessed? I sure am. I am so blessed to still have my Dad and Step-mom. They are the best. I am so thankful for all they have meant to me and my family. They are the only ones we have left. I have just spent 4 days with them and hate to leave them. God has blessed us with a wonderful family and I can't thank Him enough. 

Family is everything. From our grandparents that we knew all the way to our children's children, they are such a blessing. God surely knew what He was doing when He made families. God's intention was for them to love and care for each other and do anything for each other. I know that none of us are perfect but because we love each other we do our best for each other. That is what a family is supposed to do. I know that some people have far from perfect families and they don't get along, etc. but I am so blessed to not have those issues. 

When I mentioned the other day about loving our neighbor, I wasn't just talking about our next door neighbor. Our neighbors are everyone besides ourselves and God. So, our families are our neighbors. And we are to love them as ourselves. And that is not just a should or a maybe but a command from Jesus. If we love the Lord our God with all our heart and all our soul and all our strength and all our mind then loving our neighbor as ourselves shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Try it! If we love God like we should, then we will love others like we should.

 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love 
comes from God. Everyone who loves has 
been born of God and knows God. 
1 John 4:7

 Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait 
for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to 
bring you to eternal life.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
