Good morning this fine Sunday morning! 
 
I was just looking out the window at the clear sky and the trees and even though the sun isn't up yet I can see that it will be another gorgeous day. This fall has been tremendous. There has been little rain but enough. The trees have been so colorful. There has been gorgeous blue skies with some days having a few wispy clouds. The nights have been cool and the days have been in the high 50's or low 60's. And it has been for more than a week or so. What better autumn days can we ask for? This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Who is the Lord God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth? Well, one dictionary says that God is  one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe, and another says that God is
the Being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshiped as creator and ruler of the universe. 

Well, the Bible reveals God as the only Infinite and Eternal Being, having no beginning and no ending. He is creator and Sustainer of all things. He is the Supreme Personal Intelligence, and Righteous Ruler of His universe. He is life and the only source of life. And He reveals Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. 

Wow! That is a lot to believe when you add everything in between all these fantastic words. But it is all true. There is too much scripture to list but it is all in His Word. HE is our all in all! He is amazing! I sure hope that you believe these things also. If you don't, it is time to study God's Word and see for yourself.

I am one of those who believe every word of the Bible literally. Some people think that I am naive and maybe a little simple minded. Scholars have tried to help people believe this and that about God and the Bible and have just made everything so much more difficult to understand. So, maybe I am simple minded but you know what? That is okay by me. I certainly don't understand it all and probably never will but I believe in God's Word by faith.


“Sanctify them by the truth; 
your word is truth.”  
John 17:17

"Consequently, faith comes from hearing 
the message, and the message is heard 
through the word about Christ."
Romans 10:17

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."
Hebrews 11:1-3

Read the whole chapter of Hebrews 11 and you can read about faith. I believe by faith about God. We can't see Him but He is here with us always and forever. His Word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is always here for us. We can count on Him when we can count on no one else. People are not perfect but He is. When life throws us a curve ball, He is waiting to help us through it. If we feel alone and like God doesn't love us, it is not Him who moved but us. We have moved away from Him. 

So turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
