My yard a few months ago. Sometimes it looks like a park!
Good morning all! I hope you had a blessed night. Mine wasn't so great. I woke up at 2 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. My favorite thing to do is pray but still couldn't sleep. So, I got up and got a book and got into my daughter's bed (she hasn't lived here since 2003) and read and finally awhile later I went back to sleep and woke up at 5:30. I layed there for a few minutes and then got up. UGH!
Oh well! Things to do, people to see, places to go!
The Lord led me to this scripture this morning:
may the Lord rejoice in his works—
The Lord led me to this scripture this morning:
Psalm 104:31-105:4
Psalm 104
31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever;may the Lord rejoice in his works—
32 he who looks at the earth, and it trembles,
who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
33 I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the Lord.
35 But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the Lord.
35 But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Praise the Lord.
Psalm 105
1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
Wow! Give praise to the Lord! Sing to Him! Do you sing to the Lord? It is certainly okay to sing to Jesus! Part of my devotion time is singing praise songs to Him. I have heard some people say that they don't like praise songs. They repeat the words too many times. Well, first of all most praise songs are scripture and that is a great way to learn scripture. Repeating it over and over really helps you remember it. Who can dislike the songs: I Love You Lord or I Worship You or Jesus, Jesus, Jesus? Certainly not me! I love to sing to Him in my quiet time, although it is not always quiet, or when I am driving. What a sweet time with the Lord. You should try it sometime. God's presence is so special at times like that.
So, worship the Lord and praise Him and sing to Him! He is worthy to be praised! He loves our singing and He loves You. You are very special to God and don't forget it!
Have a beautiful day!
