Good morning! 

Another day the Lord has made. I slept really good last night and I praise God for it but I did wake up early. But that is okay. I have a lot to do today. I was sorting through boxes of winter clothes until my husband left for work. Then I have been in the kitchen working on some baked goods for Thanksgiving ever since.

I have so much to do today and I am not getting done as fast as I would like but you know what? God will work it out and help me do it all and get through in plenty of time. He is like that. He knows what we are doing and what we need before we do or more than we do. We may think we need something or have to do something, but so many times the Lord has shown me a different way or even that I didn't even need to do what I thought I did. 
"And my God will meet all your needs according 
to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

"You yourselves know that these hands of mine have
 supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.
Acts 20:34 

God will meet our needs. He will give us what we don't know we need when we need it. He is so good to us. He supplies the needs of His companions. Are you a companion of God? Inviting Jesus into your heart and living for Him and in communion with Him will make you His companion. I had never thought of that verse before in that way but it is true. The apostle Paul spoke those words but it is true in our relationship with Jesus. He will supply our needs as His companions. Wow!

So, I give thanks to Jesus for loving us enough to supply our needs. And He does and He will for you. But remember it is according to His will. If He doesn't think we need it, He won't supply it. There is a great difference in wants and needs. But God knows, and we don't need to understand it all. We just need to trust Him and give thanks to Him all the time.

Well, gotta run. As I said I have lots to do. But before I do any of it I will give thanks to God for all He has done and all He is going to do. Thanks be to God!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
