Good morning to you!

May your day be filled with love and blessing from God! What are your plans for today? Did you ask God yet what He wants you to do? It is a great way to start the day. Does He want you to tell someone about Him? We can actually tell someone about Jesus by our godly actions. Do we get impatient? Do we get angry? Are we showing the love of Jesus in everything we do?

I am full of questions today. But sometimes we need to ask ourselves how we are living our lives for Jesus. Does everything we do glorify Him? Well it all starts with this:

He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your
neighbor  as yourself.'”  “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied.  “Do this and you will live.”
Luke 10:27-28

If we truly love the Lord and love our neighbor as ourselves, we are only going to do what is right. If we do these two things we are going to follow the 10 Commandments.  God says that we are holy and righteous in His eyes. So, we must do our best to act like it. That is a hard thing to do. We live in a fallen world where so much happens that is not right. We must look beyond the iniquities of the world and focus on Jesus. The more we put our focus on Jesus the more holy and righteous we will be, not to ourselves, not to other people but to God. We are not to please others but to only please God.

"For you are a people holy to the Lord your God.
Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the
Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession."
 Deuteronomy 14:2

"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly
loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Colossians 3:12

"You see that a person is considered righteous
by what they do and not by faith alone."
James 2:24

We are not perfect and we never will be on this earth. But when Jesus calls us home we will be as perfect as we are going to get. We will live with Jesus and love, praise, and glorify Him 24/7. What a day of rejoicing that will be!

So, I pray that you have a blessed day and start rejoicing for Jesus now. He loves you more than you will ever know.

Sincerely in Christ,

Les
