SURRENDER ALL

Good morning to you this great Sabbath morning!

I pray you had a good night. I love Matcha green tea but the caffeine is too much for my body to handle. If I have it, I must drink it early in the morning and I was drinking it at 3:30 in the afternoon. But I really didn't drink all that much. I guess I did. Ugh!!

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always 

be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks 

you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 

But do this with gentleness and respect, 

1 Peter 3:15

Let us then approach the throne of grace with 

confidence, so that we may receive mercy and 

find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

God is so awesome! He is so great and greatly to be praised. He is high and lifted up. He is faithful and true. He hears our prayers and answers them. His answers may be yes, no or maybe. The no and the maybe are answers. We may not look at them as answers but God knows what is best for us. He knows what we can handle. He may say no because He has something better for us than we even asked for or He knows what is along the path that doesn't match up with our request. We are not God. We don't think like Him. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. Everything I am saying has scripture to coincide with it. 

When we pray for something, if it is not in God's will for us He will not answer the way we think He should. But then again, it is not our will but His. Sometimes our prayers are our will. So, then we feel like God is not answering. 

When we turn our lives over to God, we need to do it totally, not partially. That is so hard to do. We spend our lives thus far wanting to do things our way and when we turn our lives over to Jesus it is so hard to give Him complete control. But that is what a relationship with Jesus is. It is saying "Jesus, I want to live for You, and with You in my life. Take complete control and help me to live for you, following You, worshiping You, talking to you always. Oh, God, help us to do what is right in Your sight. "

When we surrender to Him, we give our all to Him.

Sometimes we sing hymns and we really don't listen to the words we are singing. We really need to ponder the words as we sing them. They are so meaningful. 

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist 

the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7 

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of 

God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy 

and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.  

Romans 12:1

As the days go by, and we get busy, let us remember how awesome God really is and how much He loves us and how much He wants our whole heart, not just a part. Surrender all to Him! You can do it!
