GOD'S LOVE


Good morning in the Name of Jesus!

Love! What do you think about when you think of the word love? The love of a spouse. The love of a friend. The love of a child. The love of a job. The love of a dog or cat. The love of a favorite place. Or the love of God?

 The love of God is amazing! First of all, God sent Jesus down to earth born in a manger, of a virgin, of very meager means. Jesus lived to tell of God and His love. Then, God gave up His one and only Son, to die on a cross for our sins. Our sins! Not His own but ours. He knew no sin. Our sin He bore on His back for us. Because He loves us. Because He would do anything for us. Wow! The song "Amazing Love" tells it all.

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and 
walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave 
himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Ephesians 5:1-2

of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in

the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high 
and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure 
of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:14-19 

 "Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God You are higher than any other. Our God is healer, awesome in power, our God, our God". Oh this is the song I have playing now, Our God is Greater by Chris Tomlin. Oh my! How I love my God!

 But He loves us so much more. And remember this: 

              Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does 
            not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, 
           it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no 
              record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but 
         rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, 
              always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.
                                    1 Corinthians 13:4-8a 

 God's love is perfect. Ours is not. So, when you feel lost and as if no one loves you, God does, no matter where you are in your walk or what you have done, He loves you with a perfect, unconditional love that no one can fathom. Let us walk in His love and try to love like Him.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
