Sunday
Good morning on this Sabbath Day!
May God bless you and bless your day. I pray that you slept well and long. I again woke up about 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. I read a bit and then was able to. Maybe I am excited about our soon-coming vacation. I can't wait!
The beach here we come. I am really looking forward to it. I love traveling and vacationing. There is just something special about getting away from your every day routine and spending a lot of time with your family or husband, God and nature. I could do it once a month. How about you?
I was reading out of a different version of God's Word this morning since I had already packed my Bible for church. The version is the Good News and mine is a New Testament. For some reason it just seemed to speak to me this morning. It is not really that much different than the NIV but...
Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord,
live in union with him. Keep your roots deep
in him, build your lives on him, and become
stronger in your faith, as you were taught.
And be filled with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7
Think about it and meditate on it and maybe you will like it too. Let's keep our roots deep in Him building our lives on Him. Therefore we will become stronger in our faith like we have been taught. And we should always be filled with thanks.
Think on these things and have an extravagant day! You are worth it!
