TROUBLE

Thursday

Good morning!
I hope your day was great yesterday.

Mine was but I am having trouble with my legs. I have no idea what that could be but it feels like they weigh a ton and they ache all the time. It used to be every once in a while and after a busy day. Now I wake up and they are that way all the time. I have a doctor's appt. this morning. But I don't like going because it seems that most of the time they just guess at the problem and give you meds. And if that doesn't work you go back and they guess again and give you more meds. It is like a vicious circle.

Maybe there is a circle of life. You know,  life is great and then it is not. Then life is great, then it is not. I guess that is what the ups and downs or mountains and valleys are. Why can't it just be a steady and even life? I guess it would be boring. I like boring. Don't you?

But Jesus said that there would be troubles in life but that He would overcome.

“I have told you these things, so that in me
you may have peace. In this world you will
have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against
the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 6:12

My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26

"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears
them; he delivers them from all their troubles."
Psalm 34:17

So, God will deliver us from all our trouble. We do need to cry out. But when we do God will deliver us in His time not ours.
Have you seen this before?

"Be kind. For everyone you
meet is fighting a battle."

Well, the troubles we go through are a battle. So, when we come across someone who is mean or sad or rude or whatever, remember that. Even though meanness or rudeness are not acceptable, that is the world we live in. But in all reality there is no excuse.

Let's put a smile on our face, trust God, and no matter what trouble we are going through, He is bigger than all this stuff, and He will deliver us when He is ready. And remember that He is in control.

Have a blessed day!
