WALK WITH ME
Tuesday
Good morning!
How are you doing today? I pray very well. I just read a devotional about a lady who had a baby and when the baby first walked, he took baby steps. And then bigger steps would come and then before you know it they grow up. And in the process they fall down and get up many times before they are steady.
As a Christian we do the same. We start off not sure what to do. We fall down and get up. We learn and we grow in Christ. As time goes on we know more of what to do. We learn and we get better and better at this "Christian life." We have not arrived, but someday when we meet Jesus we will have arrived. We will know for certain what to do and we will do it perfectly.
When we all get to heaven we will rejoice and live with Jesus for eternity. We will laugh and not cry. We will never be weary. We will never faint. We will never stumble and fall. We will soar on wings like eagles and the Lord will renew our strength.
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31
We will have strength and power and hope. And they all come from God. Now we can also have these things on earth if we put our trust in Jesus. Those things are perfect since they are from God. But as imperfect people we tend to forget where the things of God come from. We try to do right but we do grow tired and weary and stumble and fall.
But as the scripture says, "He will give us strength and increase our power". Now what are we going to do with it as we try our best to live for Jesus?
So, trust in the Lord and He will help us all the way to do what it takes to help us abide in Him. And spend all your days walking with Him, for He will never leave you behind.
Have a wonderful day!
