RAISE YOUR HANDS

Monday

Good morning!

I want to share something with you. I went to a women's conference in Pensacola last April. A comedian named Tim Hawkins was one of the guests speakers. Well, I guess he didn't really speak, he did what he could to make us laugh. And we laughed and laughed some more. One of the things he talked about was the different levels that Christians raise their hands in church. It is really funny but kind of sad. We are embarrassed to lift our hands to the Lord. We wonder what people will think of us if we do it.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
    and praise the Lord.
Psalm 134:2

Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I
lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
Psalm 28:2

I will praise you as long as I live, and
in your name I will lift up my hands.
Psalm 63:4

Anyway, let's not worry about what people think of us. Our worship is between God and us and in all reality it doesn't concern anyone else.

But anyway watch this video. You might like it. You might even laugh a little.

Let's praise our Lord and raise our hands. For God is worth it!

Have a great day!
