SUBMIT AND RESIST

Good morning on this great Friday!

God is good, God is great! Who do I appreciate? Yesterday I talked about being thankful to God and others and how He is worthy of all our praise and more. 

I really should have done this post last night. I am trying to write, eat, take a hand full of vitamins, and pay bills at the same time. I will be out of town to a ladies conference. I am really looking forward to it. It is always awesome and I love the fellowship with my friends. We don't get to spend time together very often.

I want you to think about this scripture.

  Therefore, submit to God. But resist 
 the Devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7

Submit to God! Give your all to Him and His will. Be obedient to Him. Praise Him. Worship Him. Thank Him. Love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Resist the devil! Stand against his evil wiles. Praise stills the enemy so praise the Lord always. Keep your actions in line with God's ways. Read His Word and do as He says.

He will flee from you! As I said praise stills the enemy. Continue to praise the Lord and the enemy has to flee. He can't stand to be around Jesus. So, if you are submitting to the Lord and resisting the devil, he has to flee. It sounds easy, doesn't it?

Out of the mouth of babies and infants, 
you have established strength because 
of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
Psalm 8:2

It is not as easy as it might seem. But that is okay. No one ever said the life was easy. But we do it anyway, if and when we love the Lord.

I took this picture yesterday. It was amazing!   Good morning to you on  this blessed and chilly day! May God fill you with His love and His Spirit. He is awesome! He is miraculous! He is the great I AM! He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last! He is our Lord of lords and King of kings. He is my Savior! Is He yours? Jesus is coming back soon. Do you know Him? Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
