PRAY & CELEBRATE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
TO MY HUSBAND!

Good morning to you on this fine Monday!

Today is my husband's birthday. It is only once every 6-7 years when it is on Labor Day. However the calendar falls with leap year and all. That is pretty cool. He has a holiday for his birthday. How shall we celebrate? Well, about two weeks ago I bought him an executive chair for his desk (table). He has a real nice exec. chair in his office at church and decided that was what he wanted for his birthday. So, we looked and looked and he finally found the one he wanted. He uses it almost every day and loves it. I am so glad that I could get him a gift that he really could use and that he really likes.

I am not sure what we will do today. I really want to take him somewhere to get out of the house. Although, I know that he would rather just stay home since he is gone 6 days a week. We shall see.

I will leave it in God's hands. I will let Him lead us in what to do today. I still don't know what we should do today. Been thinking for awhile. It looks like it is going to rain. The kids aren't coming. His back is still hurting pretty bad. I didn't buy or make a cake since they are too big for two people and we don't need it anyway. I forgot to buy bacon to fix a big breakfast which he doesn't really like. Where does that leave me? Or him on his birthday?

Oh, Lord, give me wisdom in this special situation. I want to do something really special but only You know what that could be. Bless my husband and give him a great birthday that only you can give. In my own little pea brain there are no ideas but in Your great wisdom, Lord, only You know what the perfect day could be. So, be with him Lord and show me what we can do. In Jesus Name, amen!

God wants to hear our prayers no matter how small or large they may be. He wants that communication with us and all the time.

                                     Rejoice always; pray without ceasing;
                                in everything give thanks; for this
                              is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
                                     1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

                                Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
                                     listen to my plea for grace.

                                                 Psalm 86:6

                                   Devote yourselves to prayer,
                                      keeping alert in it with an
                                       attitude of thanksgiving;
                                              Colossians 4:2

Have a fantastic day!
