BE STILL



Good morning on this blessed and cool day!
It is cool this morning and it will be freezing the next couple of mornings. By freezing I mean 32* or less. Should we praise the Lord? Always, no matter what the circumstances.

My mind is whirling today. We talked about dates and times and goings-on for the next three months at several activities that I am involved in and I didn't write down anything. Now I am panicking that I will forget something while I am trying to remember what I need to write down. Does that make sense? Probably not. I just don't want to lose it or have a panic attack or be totally stressed or have my heart race uncontrollably. And it is starting and the holidays aren't even here yet. Help me Lord!

As we think about and plan for the next few months, let's be still and know that He is God.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I 
will be exalted among the nations, 
I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalm 46:10

Let's praise Him and worship Him not only at church but on "our own time." Let us remember Jesus before we try to remember everything else. I promise that things will be better and go smoother if we do this first and foremost before we do anything else. 

I really need to do that. Right now I am getting a little panicky.
And I know that I need God's peace. We all do. So, I will sign off for today and spend some more time with Jesus. I have done that earlier this AM but I am ready to do it again as my day begins. 

Remember that Jesus loves you so much that He gave His own life for you. And He wants to fill you with the peace that only He can give.

"The LORD bless you and keep you; 
the LORD make his face shine upon 
you and be gracious to you; the LORD 
turn his face toward you and give you peace."
Numbers 6:24-26

I took this picture yesterday. It was amazing!   Good morning to you on  this blessed and chilly day! May God fill you with His love and His Spirit. He is awesome! He is miraculous! He is the great I AM! He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last! He is our Lord of lords and King of kings. He is my Savior! Is He yours? Jesus is coming back soon. Do you know Him? Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
