BLESSINGS

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night!

When do you read this blog? I don't even know. I suppose that some of you read it whenever you can and that may not necessarily be in the morning. But just know that whenever you do get a chance to read this, I really do appreciate it.

And I am going to say it again--God is good all the time-All the time God is good! He is such a great and awesome God and I praise His Holy Name. We had a great Homecoming yesterday at our church. Many people came and the worship was great. A man in the church played the drums with the piano player which he hasn't done since we have been there. We had the band "Just Us" worship with us in music. The choir sang which just started back and doesn't sing every week. A person led the choir from another church. We don't have a choir director. He was great! The food was like a banquet with Jesus. We met some people we hadn't met. The children sang. A child did a solo. It was all awesome! And I praise the Lord!

If we could have blessings like that more often. And in all reality we do. We just don't always think of things that way. But there are too many blessings to count. God has given us more than we can ever imagine. And I want to thank Him so much more than I do. But I just don't know how to thank Him more.

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make
known among the nations what he has done.
1 Chronicles 16:8

Now, our God, we give you thanks
and praise your glorious name.
1 Chronicles 29:13

We can tell God thank you a thousand times but it just seems like there is more we can do because He deserves more. These scriptures help in doing that. But more thanks we can give is loving Him, following Him, trusting Him, and being obedient to Him. And again because HE IS WORTHY!

For great is the LORD and most worthy of
praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
Psalm 96:4

Let's really praise and thank the Lord as the Thanksgiving season approaches and remember where all we have came from.

But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will
sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will
make good. Salvation comes from the LORD."
Jonah 2:9

Listen:

Have an abundant day!
