VICTORY

Saturday

Good morning to you!

The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that!

The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. (When I find the picture I will post it.) So, I feel like I belong there and I miss it more and more as I get older. God made it with His own hands! (or voice).

I think God uses these things to show us where we came from and where we are going. Will He let me die there? That would be awesome. Just thinking about the beach and hearing the waves just takes me back and gives me God's peace. And He has the victory no matter what.

In this world we live in, the times are very tough, especially these days. I would like to think that it will get better. But I am not sure it will. We are in the end times, I believe. Jesus will be back soon. And I am ready to meet my Maker. Are you?

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
1 Timothy 3:1-5, 13

But Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
Revelation 12:10

We have victory in Jesus!!

Have an awesome day!
