CHRIST-LIKE

Obviously I didn't take this picture but I will get one in a couple of days but not from the air.

Good morning on this great Monday morning!

How are you doing? We had a wonderful service at church yesterday. My husband talked about how we are an example to people around us. How are we presenting

ourselves? How are we living? People are watching every move we make. Every word they hear us say. Do we act like the world or do we live like Christ? The world is not the one we should love and adore. Jesus is the only one we should love and adore above all else.

If you belonged to the world, it would love you
as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the
world, but I have chosen you out of the
world. That is why the world hates you.
John 15:19

Do not conform to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s
will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2

Do not love the world or anything in the world.
If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
1 John 2:15

That seems to be pretty harsh but we need to stay away from the world as much as we can. I know we live in it but we are not of it. God has made us His own when we accept Him. And He is not of this world. Do we love worldly things? Do we want to do everything that the world does? We are set apart as Christians and are not to do the same things. How are non-Christians going to know who the Christians are if we act just like they do? We are to be a beacon of light in a world where there is much darkness. We want people to see us and want to then change their lives to be like us. Just like we are to change our lives to be like-Christ as best we can.

“And now I entrust you to God and the message
of his grace that is able to build you up and give
you an inheritance with all those
he has set apart for himself.
                                               Acts 20:32

I want to act like a child of the most high King. And even though I am far from it, I do the best I know how, and I hope that I get better every day.

So, how about you? Are you in it with me? Shall we try to be Christ-like together?

Have an awesome day!
