GOD IS GREAT




Good morning to you on 
this fine Monday morning!

I pray that you had a great weekend. I sure did. God is a wonderful and awesome God. He is not just good but He is great. We must never forget that. 

We say that God is good all the time. And all the time God is good. And it is so true. But I heard a preacher say yesterday, that saying God is good doesn't really do Him justice because He is so much greater than good.

For the Lord your God is God of gods
 and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, 
and the awesome God, who is not 
partial and takes no bribe.
Deuteronomy 10:17

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
    and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
    for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
    you are exalted as head over all.
1 Chronicles 29:11

I am amazed at the awesomeness of God. And I am amazed at the amount of people who don't know how great God is. It saddens me to think about the people who reject Jesus and His goodness. I want everyone to know Jesus and how much He loves them. 

Do you know that? I can't tell you enough how much God loves you. Only He can show you that. But when Jesus stretched His arms from side to side on the cross and shed His blood for each one of us, that is how much He loves us. And then, only He came back to life in order to give us eternal life with Him in heaven. 

If you read the books of John and 1 John in the Holy Bible, you can see what His love is all about. I hope and pray that you will do just that. If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus, please spend time reading those books of the Bible and see for yourself just a glimpse of what He is all about.

 He loves you and wants you to be His child. Think about it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
